Assistant Editor, Feature Film

Hey everyone, we're looking for a skilled Assistant Editor for an intense independent drama feature film filming in Berlin this fall. This project delves into complex psychological themes, promising a truly impactful cinematic experience. We need someone to handle all the daily organizational tasks, including syncing and organizing footage, creating dailies, and preparing timelines for editorial. You'll be crucial in keeping our workflow smooth and efficient. We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of assistant editing experience on feature films, familiar with DaVinci Resolve, and who can hit the ground running. You'll need your own laptop with the necessary software. Shoot dates are approximately October to November, with post-production continuing afterward. Expect 8-10 hour days.
