Senior Editor, Indie Feature Film (Seoul)

We are seeking a talented Senior Editor for an upcoming independent feature film, a suspenseful psychological drama with strong visual storytelling. This project offers a unique opportunity to shape a compelling narrative and contribute to a visually driven film that explores themes of memory and perception. We're looking for someone who can craft a powerful emotional arc through meticulous editing, bringing a sophisticated understanding of pacing and rhythm to the forefront. Key responsibilities include assembling daily footage, collaborating closely with the director on creative decisions, managing project files efficiently, and preparing deliverables for sound and color. You should have extensive experience editing narrative features, a strong sense of story, and be proficient with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer). Please submit a reel showcasing your best narrative work. This is a volunteer position, but meals and a copy of the finished film will be provided. Edit duration is approximately 8-10 weeks, full-time. We'll be working out of a facility in Seoul. Excited to hear from you.
