Color Grading for Music Video

Hey everyone, I'm Elena, a producer on an upcoming independent music video project. We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic entry-level colorist to join our team. This is for an indie pop track, think vibrant, dreamy, and a bit magical. We've got some great footage shot on an Arri Alexa Mini and are looking for someone to really bring out the mood and elevate the visuals. Your main responsibility will be color grading the final cut of the music video, working closely with the director and editor to achieve the desired look. We'll need you to have access to your own grading suite, Blackmagic Resolve preferred, and a properly calibrated monitor. Please have a reel or portfolio showcasing your color work, even if it's student projects or personal work. We're looking for an eye for detail and understanding of visual storytelling through color. This is a deferred payment gig, offering points in the production plus deferred compensation. We're aiming for a turnaround in late May, early June, so flexibility with your schedule for a few weeks around then would be ideal. We'll provide all necessary files and clear communication throughout the process. Excited to see what you can do!
