Color Grading for Pilot

Hey everyone, Drew Campbell here, a Re-recording Mixer working on a really cool upcoming pilot project. We’re in search of a senior colorist to bring their expertise to our independent production. This pilot is a gritty, character-driven drama with elements of a psychological thriller, so we’re aiming for a nuanced, cinematic look that really underscores the emotional intensity. You'll be responsible for all aspects of color grading, from initial dailies review to final color correction and mastering. We need someone who’s not only technically proficient with industry-standard software (DaVinci Resolve preferred) but also has a strong artistic eye and a deep understanding of visual storytelling through color. Please have a solid reel demonstrating your experience with dramatic projects and a keen understanding of color theory. Shoot dates are TBD, likely in late summer, early fall, and we'll need you for the post-production phase shortly after. Compensation will be competitive and based on experience. We'll provide all necessary project files and a comfortable, collaborative remote workflow is possible, though Chicago-based candidates are a bonus for occasional in-person meetings.
