Color Grading for Short Film

Hey everyone, I'm helping a director friend find a senior colorist for his upcoming sci-fi short, 'Chrono-Shift.' It's a really cool concept, kind of a cerebral, atmospheric piece with some subtle time-travel elements, so think less 'explosion' and more 'moody aesthetic.' We're looking for someone who can elevate the visual storytelling and bring a sophisticated, cinematic feel to the grade. You'd be responsible for all aspects of color correction and grading, working closely with the director to establish and maintain the film's unique look. We're shooting on Alexa Mini LF and aiming for a high-end, polished final product. You'll need your own grading suite and software, obviously, and a strong reel showcasing your narrative work in sci-fi or similar genres is a must. This is a deferred compensation gig, offering points in the film. We're looking to start post-production in late summer. This will be a remote position, but the director and editor are based in NYC, and we'd love someone who can do an in-person pass for final approvals if you're local, otherwise video calls are fine.
