Senior Colorist for Pilot (Drama)
Hey everyone, Ray here. Our independent production is gearing up for a pilot, a gritty drama with a psychological thriller edge that we're really excited about. It’s a character-driven piece focused on moral ambiguity, and the visual tone is going to be crucial for conveying that complexity. We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Colorist to help us define and execute the look. You'll be responsible for all aspects of color grading, from dailies to final master, working closely with the director and DP to establish a distinctive and consistent visual language. We're aiming for something atmospheric and nuanced. You'll need to have your own grading suite and licensed software, along with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on similar dramatic projects. We're looking for someone with significant experience, ideally 5+ years, handling high-end independent productions. This is a crucial role, so a keen eye for detail and strong collaborative skills are a must. The grading schedule is flexible but we anticipate 2-3 weeks of work following principal photography (actual dates TBD, but likely early summer). Pay is $2000-$3000/week, depending on experience. We'll handle all delivery specs and provide all necessary project files. Please send your reel and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience. Thanks!
