Colorist, Feature Film (Mid-Level)

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for a talented mid-level colorist to join our independent production, a character-driven feature film with a grounded, gritty tone. It's an intense story, mostly set in a single location, and we really want the color to reflect that claustrophobic atmosphere. You'll be responsible for creating and executing the final working closely with the director and DP to achieve their vision. This includes primary and secondary corrections, matching shots, and delivering master files. We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience in long-form narrative, a solid understanding of color science, and proficiency with DaVinci Resolve. Please include your reel with narrative examples. We'll be shooting in August in Los Angeles, so the roughly 2-3 week grading period would be in the fall, exact dates TBD. Expect 10-12 hour days. We'll provide a dedicated grading suite and all necessary project assets. This is a great opportunity to make your mark on a compelling indie project.
