Colorist, Drama Short Film

Looking for a talented mid-level Colorist for an impactful short drama, currently in post-production. This film explores themes of loss and resilience, with a powerful, intimate tone that needs careful visual articulation. We're aiming for a moody, subtly desaturated aesthetic, but with moments of vibrant warmth to highlight emotional shifts. Your main responsibilities will include crafting the final look of the film, ensuring creative consistency, and delivering broadcast-quality files. We'll need you to work closely with the director to achieve their vision. Experience with DaVinci Resolve is a must, and we'd love to see a reel that showcases your ability to elevate storytelling through color, especially in character-driven narratives. This is a remote-friendly position, though we're open to working with someone local in Los Angeles. We anticipate this will be a 3-5 day commitment, flexible based on project needs, likely spread over a couple of weeks to allow for review and revisions.
