Line Producer, Dramatic Short Film

Looking for a seasoned Line Producer to help bring a powerful dramatic short film to life here in Vancouver. This is a story about overcoming personal struggles, with a raw and intimate tone. We've got a killer script and a passionate team, but need someone to help us make the magic happen logistically. You'll be responsible for all aspects of physical production, including budgeting, scheduling, managing crew, locations, and ensuring we stay on track. Experience with independent productions, navigating tight budgets, and resourceful problem-solving is key. We need someone who can hit the ground running and translate creative visions into practical plans. Strong communication skills are a must, as you'll be the central hub for the production. This is a senior-level position. While we do have some funding in place, compensation for this phase will be points plus deferred payment, reflecting the indie nature of the project. We're aiming to shoot for approximately 5-7 days, likely late spring or early summer, exact dates TBD. We'll provide craft, transportation support, and a dedicated, enthusiastic crew.
