Line Producing for Documentary
Hey filmmakers, I'm Isabella, a Line Producer currently working on an independent documentary project, and we're looking for a dedicated Production Manager. This is a compelling, human-interest story exploring the vibrant culture of Miami, with a focus on its hidden artistic communities. It's a visually rich doc that aims to shed light on underrepresented voices, and we believe it has a lot of heart. As our Production Manager, you'd be a key player in keeping things running smoothly. Your responsibilities would include coordinating logistics (travel, accommodations, local permits), managing our shoot schedule, assisting with budget tracking, and generally making sure our crew has what they need. We're looking for someone with around 3-5 years of non-union production management experience, ideally with some doc work under your belt. Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude are essential. While our core crew is based in Miami, we're open to remote work for the right candidate, with occasional on-site presence as needed. This is a volunteer position, but we'll cover all your meals during shoots and ensure you get a copy of the final film for your reel. We're a small, passionate team and this is a great chance to be part of a meaningful project from the ground up. Shoot dates are TBD but primarily fall 2024. If this sounds like you, please send over your resume and a brief cover letter explaining your interest.
