Line Producer, New Orleans Short Film

Hey film fam, I'm helping out a director friend find a killer Line Producer for an upcoming short film shooting here in New Orleans. It's a gritty, character-driven drama, kind of a modern noir vibe. We're talking intimate stakes, strong performances, and a really unique visual style. It's an independent production, so we need someone who can work wonders on a lean budget but still make sure everything clicks. Think efficiency, problem-solving, and keeping the ship sailing smoothly. We're big on collaboration and a good work environment. Your main gig will be overseeing all the logistical and financial aspects of the shoot, making sure we're on schedule and budget, handling permits, crew agreements, and generally keeping everything organized. We're looking for someone with solid mid-level Line Producer experience, particularly with short films or smaller independent features. Experience in the New Orleans area is a huge plus, but we're open to remote work for the right person, as long as you're available during key prep and shoot times. Compensation is deferred, with points on the backend. Shoot dates are looking like late summer, early fall, probably around 5-7 days. We'll provide craft services, some travel support for essential on-location work, and a really cool project to add to your reel.
