Line Producer, Documentary Feature

Seeking an experienced (or incredibly ambitious new talent) Line Producer for an independent documentary feature exploring the past, present, and future of Detroit's iconic music scene. This isn't just about the legends, it's about the everyday artists and the city that fuels them. We need someone who can keep us on track, on budget, and organized as we tell this story. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day logistics, scheduling, budget tracking, crew coordination, and securing locations/permits. We're a small, passionate team, so a proactive, problem-solving attitude is essential. While specific gear isn't a requirement for this role, strong organizational skills and familiarity with production processes are. Experience with independent documentary budgets is a plus, but we're open to a smart, eager-to-learn individual. Shoot dates are approximate, starting late summer, early fall, with flexibility as we develop the schedule. We anticipate a 4-6 week shooting block in Detroit, with preparation work leading up to it. This is a paid position, offering $150-300 per day, dependent on experience and responsibilities. Basic production equipment (laptops, communications) will be provided.
