Line Producing for Documentary

Seeking an experienced (or emerging!) Line Producer for an independent documentary exploring the vibrant food truck scene in Toronto. This film will be a dynamic, character-driven piece, full of energy and flavor. We're looking for someone who thrives on organization and problem-solving, happy to roll up their sleeves and help bring this story to life. Your key responsibilities will include helping with budgeting, scheduling, call sheets, permitting, and securing locations. You'll also be instrumental in managing day-to-day logistics on set and ensuring the production runs smoothly. Experience with independent documentary workflows is a definite plus, though we're open to candidates with strong transferable organizational skills. A positive attitude and proactive approach are essential. Approximate shoot dates are spread across 4-6 weeks between July and September, with some prep work starting in late June. We're offering a daily rate of $200-400, commensurate with experience. We'll be providing all necessary production insurance and a welcoming, collaborative set environment.
