Line Producing for Pilot

Pilot Line Producing Los Angeles, CA entry Budget: $150-300/day

I'm a Production Designer seeking an enthusiastic and organized Entry-Level Line Producer for an upcoming pilot. This is an independent production, a dramedy with surrealist elements that tackles themes of identity and belonging, promising a visually rich and emotionally resonant story. We're looking for someone eager to dive into the practicalities of filmmaking, managing budgets, schedules, and logistics. Key responsibilities include assisting with permitting, vendor negotiations, crew management, and ensuring a smooth production flow from pre-production through wrap. You should be detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and comfortable problem-solving on the fly. No extensive line producing experience is necessary, but a solid grasp of production basics, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn is crucial. We expect long days, but it will be a rewarding experience. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late September for approximately 5-7 days of principal photography, with additional pre-production work. Compensation is $150-300 per day, dependent on experience and duties. This is a paid position. Your commitment to getting things done and supporting the creative vision is highly valued. Based in Los Angeles, you'll need reliable transportation. Please send a brief cover letter outlining your interest and any relevant experience, even if it's academic or short films. No resume required for initial inquiry, but tell me why you're ready to tackle this role.
