Line Producer, Documentary
Looking for a Line Producer to join our team for an independent documentary project, focusing on a compelling local story in Austin, Texas. This film aims to blend intimate character studies with broader social commentary, offering a unique and poignant look at community resilience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all logistical and financial aspects of production, from budget management and scheduling to vendor negotiations and crew coordination. We're open to all experience levels, from burgeoning line producers looking to make their mark to seasoned pros. You should be highly organized, a proactive problem-solver, and comfortable working within a dynamic independent film environment. Strong communication skills are a must. Shoot dates are approximate and flexible, likely spanning several weeks over the coming months. We anticipate a pretty standard 10-12 hour workday when on set, with additional pre-production work as needed. This is a remote-friendly position, though a presence in Austin for key production phases will be beneficial. Compensation is a flat rate of $250 per day worked. While we don't require specific gear, your expertise in production management software or tools is a plus. We're a small production company, but we're passionate about this story and excited to bring a dedicated Line Producer on board.
