Production Designer, Music Video (Miami, FL)

We are seeking a talented and creative Production Designer for an upcoming independent music video project in Miami, Florida. This project is for a vibrant indie pop artist, and the video will have a surreal, dreamlike aesthetic with bold colors and unique set pieces. We're looking to create something visually stunning and memorable to complement the artist's eclectic sound. As our Production Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, sourcing, and creating the visual environment for several key scenes. This includes designing sets (both practical and stylistic), props, and ensuring continuity in the overall aesthetic. You'll work closely with the director and cinematography team to bring our vision to life. We need someone with mid-level experience in production design, a strong portfolio or reel showcasing your creative problem-solving and artistry, and familiarity with working efficiently on independent productions. While we'll provide a budget for materials, experience with sourcing and managing small prop budgets is a plus. Shoot dates are approximately late July, for 2-3 days, with prep starting immediately. We anticipate 10-12 hour days. A positive attitude and collaborative spirit are essential. This is a paid position, offering $200-400 per day commensurate with experience.
