Production for Music Video

Hey everyone, we're looking for a skilled 1st Assistant Camera for an upcoming music video project in NYC. This is a passion project for an exciting independent artist whose work blends indie rock with atmospheric electronic elements. We're aiming for a grittier, visually striking aesthetic with dynamic compositions and creative lighting. This isn't your typical performance video, we're really pushing conceptual boundaries. Your main responsibilities will include pulling sharp focus, managing camera equipment, and assisting our cinematographer on set. We need someone who is detail-oriented, a quick problem-solver, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience with a variety of camera systems is a plus, and a strong eye for clean builds and efficient workflow is essential. Please have your own kit (follow focus, matte box, filters) if possible, though we may have some basic gear available depending on the camera package selected. We'd love to see your reel or examples of your previous work. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late May/early June, likely over 2-3 weekend days. Day rates can be long, so endurance and a good attitude are key. Meals, craft services, and some transportation will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate on a unique project and connect with a talented team. We're a small, independent production company but dedicated to telling compelling visual stories.
