Senior VFX Artist, Doc Series (NY)

Hey everyone, Jess here. We're looking for a talented Senior VFX Artist for an upcoming independent documentary series. It's a really compelling true crime story with a sophisticated, cinematic feel. We'll need some subtle but impactful visual effects to enhance archival footage, create period-accurate environmental extensions, and occasionally composite elements for dramatic effect. This isn't about explosions, it's about helping us tell a powerful story visually and blending old and new. We need someone with extensive experience in documentary or narrative VFX, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team. You should be set up with your own workstation and software. Please share your reel or portfolio showcasing relevant work. We're estimating about two weeks of work, potentially spread across a few months, starting mid-fall. We're offering a flat rate of $250 a day.
