VFX for Feature Film

Feature Film VFX Mexico City, MX entry Budget: $150-300/day

Hey there! We’re putting together a team for an exciting independent feature film shooting in Mexico City, and we’re looking for a sharp, entry-level VFX Artist to join us. Our project is a gritty, character-driven drama with some compelling, subtle visual effects needs that will really enhance the storytelling without being over-the-top. Think practical realism, not superhero explosions (though those are cool too!). This role will involve things like plate cleanup, rotoscoping, basic compositing, and general effects support to help integrate our practical elements with digital enhancements. You'll be working closely with the post-production supervisor to ensure a cohesive look. We need someone who’s proficient in industry-standard software, has a good eye for detail, and is eager to learn and contribute to a small, dedicated team. A strong reel or portfolio showcasing your best work (even if it’s student or personal projects) is essential. We’re aiming for principal photography to wrap up around late summer, with VFX work commencing shortly after. We’re offering a daily rate of $150-300, depending on experience. While you'll primarily be working remotely, occasional in-person meetings in Mexico City might be required at key stages. We'll provide any necessary software licenses. If you're a passionate, detail-oriented artist ready to make your mark on a cool project, let’s chat!
