Senior VFX Artist, Music Video (Remote OK)

Hey all, I'm helping out an independent production looking for a talented Senior VFX Artist for an upcoming music video. This project is a really cool, high-energy R&B/hip-hop track that calls for some trippy, ethereal visual effects to enhance the narrative. We're aiming for a dreamy, stylized look rather than a hyper-realistic one. You'll be primarily responsible for creating and integrating custom visual effects elements, compositing, motion graphics, and helping finalize the overall visual aesthetic. We're looking for someone with a strong reel demonstrating a solid understanding of visual storytelling through effects, particularly experience with music videos or short-form content. You should be proficient in industry-standard software, have your own workstation and software licenses, and be comfortable working independently while collaborating with the director and editor. We're tentatively shooting in late June/early July in New Orleans, with post-production kicking off shortly after. While we'd love someone local, this role is totally open to remote artists. We anticipate this being a 2-3 week commitment, potentially longer depending on the complexity of the effects. Compensation is negotiable depending on experience and your proposed workflow.
