Senior VFX Compositor, Sci-Fi Short (Seoul)
This job posting is closed.
Hey everyone, I'm Ji-Hoon Baek, a VFX Supervisor, and I'm looking for a highly skilled Senior VFX Compositor for an upcoming independent sci-fi short film. This project is a visually ambitious, character-driven piece set in a near-future Seoul, exploring themes of memory and artificial intelligence. We have some really interesting practical effects and creature work that will need seamless integration. Your main responsibilities will include advanced roto and paint, 2D and 3D tracking, keying, and integrating CGI elements into live-action plates, ensuring photorealistic results. We're also keen on someone who can contribute creatively to the look and feel. You'll need substantial experience in Nuke, a strong eye for detail, and a compelling reel demonstrating your compositing expertise on complex shots. Please, no entry-level applications. This is a fast-paced environment, so efficiency and a proactive attitude are key. We're looking at approximate shoot dates mid-August, with post-production starting shortly after, roughly 8-10 hour days. We'll provide workstation, software licenses, and all necessary footage, of course. Day rate is $500-800 US, depending on experience. Looking forward to seeing your work!
