Sound Designer, Drama Pilot

We are seeking a talented Sound Designer for an upcoming independent drama pilot. This project is a character-driven story with a surreal tone, exploring themes of memory and loss. We need someone who can craft an immersive and subtly unsettling soundscape that enhances the psychological dimension of the narrative. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing all sound effects, Foley, ambiance, and contributing to the overall sonic identity of the pilot. You'll work closely with the director to achieve the desired emotional impact. We're looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience in audio post-production, ideally with some drama or psychological thriller credits. Please have your own sound design software and a strong portfolio demonstrating your creative sound work. Familiarity with Pro Tools is a plus. Shoot dates are approximately late July (3 days), followed by post-production work throughout August. This is a day rate position, $200-400/day, depending on experience. We'll be providing all picture elements and a comfortable workspace in West LA for mixing. Looking forward to hearing from you!
