Sound Designer - Feature Doc (Remote OK)

Looking for a talented sound designer to join our independent documentary feature, currently in post-production. This film explores the vibrant, underground world of Brooklyn's street artists, blending raw, observational footage with intimate interviews. We're aiming for a grittier, atmospheric soundscape that really brings the city to life and complements the visual storytelling. We need someone who can craft compelling sound environments, handle dialogue clean-up, and create impactful sound effects that elevate the narrative without overpowering it. Key responsibilities include designing the overall soundscape, mixing, and mastering for broadcast/festival delivery. Experience with documentary sound design is a must, and we're open to all experience levels (student to seasoned pro). You'll need your own workstation and software. Please provide a reel or portfolio demonstrating your sound design work, particularly any documentary or narrative projects. This is a partnership opportunity, offering a Co-producer credit and backend participation. While Brooklyn-based is a plus for occasional in-person collaboration, we're fully set up for remote work.
