Entry-Level Sound Designer, Commercial (Austin, TX)
Hey folks, Bryce Harmon here. Looking for an enthusiastic Sound Designer to join an upcoming commercial project based here in Austin. This spot is for a local tech startup, so the vibe is high-energy, modern, and a bit quirky. We're aiming for a really polished, impactful soundscape that elevates some already great visuals. Your main gig will be creating, editing, and mixing all sound elements beyond dialogue for the commercial, including sound effects, foley, and atmosphere. We'll be collaborating closely to make sure the sound perfectly complements the picture. This is an entry-level position, so I'm not expecting years of experience, but a solid reel demonstrating your ear for detail and ability to tell a story through sound is a must. You'll need your own sound design software and access to a decent sound library. We're looking at approximately 3-5 days of work, possibly more depending on the final edit, likely starting late next month. Compensation is $300-500/day, depending on experience. This is a great opportunity to get some commercial credits on your resume and work with a fun, professional crew. Reach out with your reel and a brief intro!
