VFX Artist, Sci-Fi Pilot

Hey everyone, James here. I'm a sound designer working on an exciting independent pilot, a sci-fi drama with a really unique, grounded aesthetic. We're looking for a talented VFX artist to help us bring some of our more ambitious concepts to life. This isn't about huge explosions, but more about subtle world-building, UI elements, and enhancing practical effects to really sell the sci-fi elements. You'll be working closely with our director and post-production team to integrate your work . We're open to all experience levels, from students to seasoned pros, as long as you have a strong eye for detail and a passion for sci-fi. A reel or portfolio demonstrating your work is essential. We're shooting in Austin, TX, with shoot dates in late May/early June (flexible, around 2-3 days of shooting). This is a volunteer position, but we'll provide meals on set and a copy of the final pilot for your reel. It’s a great opportunity to get some cool sci-fi work under your belt and connect with a passionate crew.
