Justifying Green Costs to Budget-Conscious Producers?

Hey everyone, Chris O'Brien here. Working as a Key Grip, I'm always looking for ways to make our sets more sustainable. We recently wrapped a project using an ARRI ALEXA Mini and a mix of HMI and some newer LED fixtures like the LS 1200d Pro and PavoTube II 30X. I'm trying to figure out how to frame the benefits of going even greener for future shoots.

Specifically, how do we justify things like an ‘eco-manager’ hire, or the higher upfront cost of outfitting a whole truck with, say, Orbiter and more Helios Tubes, when pitching to a producer who's really focused on the bottom line? I've tried talking about long-term savings on power or waste disposal, but it often gets sidelined by the immediate budget impact. Any tips on how to effectively present these sustainability investments as financially smart in the short-term?
