Optimizing Node Tree for Tech, Secondary, and Creative Grades, Seeking Your Workflow Wisdom!

Hey everyone, I’ve been diving deeper into node-based grading workflows lately, and while there’s a lot of great foundational advice out there on structuring things, I'm curious about real-world application.

My current project involves a lot of interview footage shot on an ALEXA Mini, along with some b-roll from a URSA Mini Pro G2, and I'm finding myself constantly tweaking my node tree order. I'm trying to find that sweet spot where I can efficiently handle my technical corrections (exposure, white balance), then move into precise secondary adjustments (skin tones, product highlights (lit with a couple of amaran 150c and a SkyPanel S60-C), and finally apply creative looks without having to re-do earlier steps. I've tried multiple configurations) sometimes putting global creative nodes very early, other times much later, and each has its own quirks.

How do you all personalize your node tree structure to effectively balance these three distinct grade phases? Are there any common pitfalls you’ve learned to avoid when trying to make your workflow both robust and pliable?
