Umpiring audio for post: 'Alts', 'Metadata', 'Delivery', rookie mistakes to avoid?

Hey UPM community,

I'm Aiden Cross, working as a UPM on a narrative short, shot on an ALEXA Mini with a MixPre-10 II on the audio side. We're getting close to wrapping and I'm putting together the official turnover docs for post, specifically thinking about the audio.

I'm trying to ensure a smooth handoff, especially concerning 'Alts', 'Metadata', and the final 'Delivery' format for the sound team. Back when I was first starting out, I know I made some blunders that caused headaches down the line. I’ve been meticulously checking sound reports and making sure file structures are clean, but these three areas always feel like potential tripwires.

Thinking back to when you were starting out, what was the most common mistake you made regarding 'Prep Production Audio for Post', specifically with 'Alts', 'Metadata', or 'Delivery'? What's the one piece of advice you'd give a beginner to avoid that pitfall?
