Editor, Sci-Fi Thriller Web Series

Looking for a talented entry level editor for a new sci-fi thriller web series. This independent production has a cool, gritty aesthetic and revolves around an AI uprising in a near-future Los Angeles. We're capturing some really interesting, stylized footage that blends practical effects with subtle CGI, so someone with an eye for pacing and a knack for building tension would be perfect. Your main role will be assembling rough cuts, refining sequences, and collaborating closely with the director to achieve the desired tone and flow. You should be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and have your own editing setup. We're not expecting a full commercial reel, but please send a link to any previous work, even student films or personal projects, that shows off your storytelling ability. Compensation is deferred, with points on the backend. We'll be doing principal photography over the next few months, with editing starting shortly after. This is a great opportunity to get a strong credit on an ambitious project. Remote work is totally fine, but ideally you're LA-based for occasional in-person meetings. Let's make something awesome.
