Editor for Sci-Fi Web Series

Hey everyone, Lucas here. I'm gaffing an independent sci-fi web series and we're on the hunt for a talented Editor to join our post-production team. This is a really cool project, a gritty, grounded sci-fi drama with some awesome visual effects planned. Think lower budget 'Expanse' meets 'Black Mirror.' We shot a solid pilot and now we need someone to bring it all together and give it that professional polish. Your main responsibilities will include ingesting footage, assembling rough cuts, refining edits based on director feedback, color correction (basic pass), and sound design (basic foley/atmos). Experience with DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. We’re looking for someone with a strong sense of story, pacing, and visual storytelling. A reel showcasing your narrative editing work is essential. This position is based in Toronto, primarily remote, but with occasional in-person meetings. We're looking at a 2-3 week commitment, starting around mid-August. Daily rate is $200-400, depending on experience. We're a small, passionate crew and you'll have a lot of creative input.
