Senior Editor, Feature Film (Remote OK)

We are seeking a talented Senior Editor for an upcoming independent feature film. This drama explores themes of resilience and community in a rural setting, with a grounded, intimate tone. We are shooting on anamorphic lenses, which gives the footage a really unique feel we want to capture in the edit. You will be responsible for assembling raw footage into a cohesive narrative, collaborating closely with the director on pacing and story structure, and preparing deliverables for sound and color. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience editing narrative features. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro is essential, and strong storytelling instincts are a must. Please provide a demo reel showcasing your feature film work. We dont require you to own specific gear, just that you have a professional editing setup. Compensation is $150-300 per day, depending on experience. Editing will primarily be remote, but with occasional in-person meetings in New York, NY. The editing schedule is flexible but will begin immediately after production wraps in late summer, early fall. This is a great opportunity to contribute significantly to a meaningful story.
