Editor, Commercial Spot (Mid-Level)

Seeking a talented mid-level editor for an upcoming commercial project in San Francisco. This is a 15-30 second spot for a tech brand, aiming for a clean, modern, and slightly playful tone. We've got some great footage from a recent shoot and need someone to help bring it to life, creating different cuts for various digital platforms. Key responsibilities include assembling raw footage, inputting music, dialogue, graphics, and effects, ensuring logical sequencing and smooth transitions, and incorporating feedback effectively. We need someone who can work efficiently and creatively to meet deadlines. You should have your own editing workstation and software (preferably Adobe Premiere Pro), a strong understanding of commercial pacing, and a solid portfolio demonstrating your commercial editing experience. Experience with color correction basics is a plus. Anticipated work will be 3-5 days, potentially spread over a week or two, in late May or early June. Specific dates are flexible and will be finalized with the selected editor. This will be primarily remote work, with occasional in-person sessions in San Francisco for reviews if preferred. We'll provide all raw footage, script, music guidance, and graphic assets. This is for an independent production, collaborating with a small but dedicated team.
