Editor, Web Series (Horror-Comedy)

Hey everyone, I'm helping out with a really fun independent web series and we're on the hunt for a talented Editor. This is a horror-comedy project, think 'Shaun of the Dead' meets 'Wellington Paranormal,' with a good mix of scares and laughs. We've got some great footage in the can and we need someone who can bring a sharp eye and comedic timing to the final cut. Key responsibilities include assembling raw footage, inputting music, dialogue, graphics, and effects, and working closely with the director to shape the narrative. We’re really looking for someone who can elevate the material. You’ll need your own editing setup (software and hardware, whatever you prefer) and a reel showcasing your previous work, especially if you have experience with comedy or horror. This is a remote-friendly position based out of Vancouver, BC, but we're open to candidates anywhere. Shoot dates are wrapped, so you'd be starting pretty soon. We're offering $300-500/day, depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with an exciting project and add some unique content to your portfolio.
