Assistant Editor, Pilot (Volunteer)

Hey everyone, I'm an Editor working on an exciting independent pilot and looking for a dedicated Assistant Editor to join our small team in Los Angeles. This dramatic pilot has a grounded, modern tone and a compelling storyline exploring themes of redemption and second chances. It's a character-driven piece that I think has a lot of potential to resonate with audiences. Your main responsibilities would involve organizing footage, creating dailies, syncing audio, and preparing projects for my edit. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. While no specific experience level is required, a basic understanding of post-production workflows and media management is definitely a plus. Please share a brief resume or tell me about any relevant experience you have. This is a volunteer position, so I can offer credit and meals on the days you're working.
