1st AC, Commercial (Volunteer)

A quirky short-form commercial featuring a local Atlanta small business is seeking an entry-level 1st AC to join our small, enthusiastic crew. This is a fun opportunity to gain on-set experience and collaborate on a project with a lighthearted, comedic tone. You'll be responsible for pulling focus, maintaining camera equipment, and assisting our DP with lens changes and setup. We're looking for someone organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the ropes of commercial production. While this is an entry-level role, a basic understanding of camera functions and focus pulling is a plus. Please have your own basic kit (e.g., lens cleaning supplies, tape measure) and, ideally, a reel (even if it's student work or personal projects). We'll be shooting for 1-2 days during the first half of September 2026. Exact dates TBD but will be weekdays. This is a volunteer position, but we will provide meals, snacks, and a copy of the final commercial for your reel.
