Line Producer, Dramatic Short Film (Atlanta)

Hey filmmakers, I'm helping a good friend find a skilled Line Producer for an upcoming dramatic short film in Atlanta. This is a powerful, character-driven story exploring themes of family and reconciliation, with a grounded, intimate tone. We’re aiming for festivals, so quality is key. We need someone with mid-level experience who can hit the ground running. You'll be crucial in managing the budget, scheduling, logistics, and vendor relationships. Basically, keeping our production on track and on budget from prep through wrap. You'll work closely with the director and production manager to ensure a smooth operation. We're looking for someone who has line produced at least two short films or assisted on a feature. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must. Experience with Movie Magic Budgeting/Scheduling is a big plus. Shoot dates are approximately 5 days in late June, with 2-3 weeks of prep leading up to it (part-time, flexible). Expect 10-12 hour days during production. We're paying $500-800/day, commensurate with experience. We’ll provide production insurance and all necessary production office supplies.
