Line Producer, Austin Short Film Shoot

Hey Austin film folk, we're looking for a sharp Line Producer for an upcoming independent short film. This is a dramatic dark comedy, with a tight script and some really interesting visual opportunities exploring themes of modern anxiety. We're aiming for a strong festival run. You'll be responsible for overseeing all production logistics, managing the budget, scheduling, and ensuring a smooth shoot from prep through wrap. We need someone who can solve problems on the fly and keep our small, dedicated crew organized and efficient. Experience managing budgets up to $50k on short films is essential. Shoot dates are approximately 5 days in late September/early October (final dates TBD). We're expecting 10-12 hour days. A solid track record as a Line Producer or a very strong UPM on similar independent productions is a must. Please send over your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
