Line Producer, Feature Film (LA)

Hey everyone, I’m Sarah Chen, a cinematographer looking for a talented Line Producer to join an exciting independent narrative feature film. It's a character-driven drama, with some thriller elements, exploring themes of identity and memory. We've got a fantastic script and a passionate core team ready to bring this story to life. As our Line Producer, you'll be crucial in overseeing the day-to-day logistics, managing the budget, scheduling, and ensuring a smooth production flow from pre-production through post. You'll handle vendor negotiations, supervise crew hires, and generally be our on-the-ground problem-solver. We're open to all experience levels for this role, whether you're a seasoned pro or looking to step up into a feature. What's most important is a strong organizational mind, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach. The shoot is planned for 5-6 weeks in the Los Angeles area, likely starting late summer/early fall. Exact dates are flexible at this stage, but we’re looking at full-time commitment during that period. This is a paid position, offering $2000-3000 per week, depending on experience. We'll be providing production insurance and standard production resources.
