Line Producer, Entry-Level Doc

Documentary Line Producing Atlanta, GA entry Budget: Negotiable

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for an enthusiastic and organized Entry-Level Line Producer for an independent documentary project. This doc explores the vibrant, unsung arts and culture scenes across Atlanta, focusing on diverse local artists and their communities. It's a passion project, aiming for an intimate and authentic feel. We need someone who can help keep our production on track logistically and budget-wise. Your key responsibilities will include assisting with scheduling, managing location agreements, tracking expenses, coordinating crew and equipment, and generally helping to ensure a smooth production flow from pre-production through post. We aren't expecting you to have feature film credits, but some experience with independent film sets, even as a PA or coordinator, is a major plus. Organizational skills and excellent communication are essential. While specific gear isn't required from you, familiarity with production paperwork (call sheets, releases) is beneficial. Please send along any relevant experience and a brief cover letter explaining why you're interested in this project. Shoot dates are TBD but anticipated for late summer/early fall, primarily on weekends or flexible weekdays. Compensation is negotiable, and we'll provide production insurance and necessary software/tools. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in documentary production with a small, dedicated team.
