VFX for Music Video

I'm a Playback Operator working on an upcoming independent music video and we're looking for an enthusiastic entry-level VFX Artist to join our small, but passionate team. This is for a high-energy, visually driven pop music video with some cool sci-fi elements we want to bring to life. Think glowing effects, subtle atmospheric enhancements, and a few small practical effects needing digital fixes. Your main responsibilities will include contributing to shot clean-up, rotoscoping, compositing, and some basic 2D animation, ensuring the visual effects enhance the narrative and aesthetic without overpowering it. We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of Adobe After Effects, Nuke, or similar compositing software. You'll need to have access to your own workstation and software. Please share your reel or a portfolio showcasing your abilities. While not required, any experience with motion tracking or green screen keying would be a plus. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late July into early August, approximately 3-4 intensive days in Los Angeles. Post-production will be flexible, depending on the complexity of shots. This is a deferred compensation position with a backend percentage offered, shared among our key crew. We're a tight-knit group looking for someone eager to learn, contribute, and grow with us on this exciting project.
