Documentary VFX 🌍 Remote entry Budget: Points + deferred

Hey everyone, Elena here. I'm producing an independent documentary series focusing on the hidden worlds within New York City's forgotten spaces. It's a visually driven project, exploring themes of urban decay, resilience, and untold stories, with a slightly gritty, artistic tone. We’re looking for an entry-level VFX artist to join our team. Your main responsibilities will include helping with rotoscoping, clean-up, basic compositing (like removing reflections or unwanted elements), and potentially some motion graphics if you have experience. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience on a real production. We need someone with a strong eye for detail and proficiency in After Effects or Nuke. Please have access to your own software and a reliable workstation. A reel demonstrating your skills, even student work or personal projects, is a must. Our initial shoot concluded recently, so this work will primarily be post-production support, starting in the next month or so. We're looking for someone available for 10-20 hours a week, with flexible scheduling. Compensation is deferred, with points in the project. We’re a collaborative team and excited to bring on someone passionate about visual storytelling. Please reach out with your reel and a brief introduction.
