VFX Artist, Independent Web Series

Hey folks, Jerome here. I'm helping out an independent production looking for a talented VFX artist for an upcoming action/comedy web series. Think John Wick meets The Naked Gun, a lot of practical stunts mixed with some seriously funny visual gags. We're talking muzzle flashes, wire removals, maybe some minor set extensions or environmental tweaks to enhance the comedy and action beats. This is a chance to add some really fun sequences to your reel, working on a project with a lot of creative freedom. Key responsibilities include creating and compositing visual effects shots, ensuring they integrate with the live-action footage. You'd be working closely with the director and post-production team to bring their vision to life. No specific gear is required, just your own software and a strong portfolio demonstrating your VFX capabilities. Experience with action or comedy projects is a plus, but not essential. We're open to all experience levels; we're really looking for creativity and a good eye. Post-production is kicking off in late summer 2024, exact hours flexible depending on the workload. This is a deferred compensation gig, offering a backend percentage points.
