VFX Artist, Music Video (Points + Deferred)

Looking for a talented mid-level VFX Artist to join our team for an upcoming independent music video project. This isn't your average pop video, we're aiming for a dark, atmospheric sci-fi vibe with some mind-bending visual elements, blending practical sets with subtle yet impactful digital enhancements. We're talking floating debris, ethereal glows, and maybe some environmental extensions to really sell the mood. Your primary responsibilities will include Compositing, Motion Tracking, Rotoscoping, and some basic 3D integration as needed. We'll be collaborating closely on creative direction, so a keen eye for detail and a good understanding of visual storytelling are a must. You should have experience in After Effects, Nuke, or similar industry-standard software, and be comfortable working within a collaborative pipeline. Please submit a reel showcasing your best work, especially anything with a similar aesthetic. Own equipment/software is a plus. Shoot dates are approximately late June / early July for about 3-4 days in Los Angeles, but the VFX work will extend beyond that. This is a passion project, so compensation is points and deferred pay, but we're committed to making something truly unique and portfolio-worthy. Delicious craft services provided on set.
