Color Grading for Feature Film

Feature Film Color Grading Berlin, DE entry Budget: Equity partnership

Hey, Annika here, an editor working on an exciting independent feature film shot right here in Berlin. We're a small, but passionate crew, and we're looking for a talented entry-level Colorist to join us. The film is a darkly comedic drama, with a really unique visual style that we want to bring out in the grade. We've got a lot of beautiful, atmospheric footage, and we need someone with a good eye to help us define the final look and feel of the picture. Your main responsibilities will involve working closely with me and the director to develop and implement the color grade, ensuring consistency throughout the film, and delivering final graded files. You should have some prior experience with color grading software, preferably DaVinci Resolve, and a basic understanding of color theory and cinematic looks. A reel, even a student one, showcasing your grading work would be a huge plus. We can provide the necessary hardware, access to the footage, and a dedicated grading space. We're aiming to begin post-production in late summer, so flexible availability during that period would be ideal. This is a partnership opportunity, so we’re looking for someone who wants to be invested creatively in the project's success.
