Entry-Level Colorist, Underwater Pilot

Pilot Color Grading Miami, FL entry Budget: $100-200/day

Hey everyone, I'm an underwater cinematographer working on an exciting pilot for a new series, and I'm looking for a talented entry-level colorist to join our team. This project delves into environmental conservation with a dramatic, adventurous tone, focusing on marine life and the challenges faced by our oceans. It's a visually stunning project, and your coloring will be vital in bringing out the beauty and urgency of our underwater world. Your primary responsibility will be color grading our raw footage to establish a consistent and impactful aesthetic, working closely with me to achieve the desired look. We'll be aiming for rich, vibrant blues and greens, with particular attention to natural light effects and enhancing the subaquatic environment. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for detail and a solid understanding of color theory. Please have your own color grading software (like DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere with Lumetri), and a reel showcasing your best work is a must. Even if it's student work or personal projects, we want to see what you can do. The pilot shoot dates are approximate, but we anticipate needing about 3-5 days of coloring work in Miami, Florida. We're offering a daily rate of $100-200, depending on experience. We'll provide all the raw footage, project specifications, and plenty of coffee. This is a great opportunity to get real-world experience on a compelling independent production and build your portfolio. Let's make some magic underwater!
