Colorist for Sci-Fi Pilot
Hey everyone, I'm an independent UPM looking for a talented entry-level Colorist for an upcoming sci-fi pilot. This is a suspenseful, character-driven story with a visually distinct, moody aesthetic that will rely heavily on strong color work to enhance its atmosphere. We're shooting on a RED Komodo, so familiarity with R3D workflows is a must. You'll be responsible for primary and secondary color correction, creating and applying LUTs, and ensuring technical consistency across all deliverables. We're looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail, a solid understanding of color theory, and experience with DaVinci Resolve Studio. Please have a reel or portfolio showcasing your best work in narrative grading. While we'll provide access to the necessary footage and project files, you'll need to have your own grading station with calibrated monitors. Shoot dates are TBD but anticipate late September early October in Brooklyn, so please be local or willing to commute. We're budgeting for 2-3 grade days, exact hours to be confirmed. This is a great opportunity to get a lead colorist credit on an ambitious project. Looking forward to seeing your work!
