Production Designer, Sci-Fi Pilot

Looking for a talented Production Designer for an upcoming independent sci-fi drama pilot shooting in Vancouver, BC. This project explores themes of artificial intelligence and human connection, with a grounded, gritty aesthetic. We're aiming for something visually compelling, blending practical sets with subtle futuristic elements. You'd be responsible for conceptualizing and executing the overall visual style of the pilot, including set dressing, props, and supervising the art department. We need someone with mid-level experience on narrative projects, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work creatively within a defined budget. While we don't expect you to own specialist gear, a well-curated portfolio showcasing your design sensibility is a must. You'll work closely with the director and DP to bring our vision to life. Shoot dates are approximately late June to early July, likely 5-7 days. It will be intense, but a really rewarding creative challenge. This is a deferred pay position, with on-screen credit and meals provided during the shoot. Let's make something cool together!
