Production Designer, Music Video (deferred)

Looking for an entry-level Production Designer for an upcoming independent music video. This project is a visually driven, high-energy pop/alternative track that needs a distinct, almost otherworldly aesthetic. Think bold colors, surreal elements, and imaginative set pieces. We're aiming for something that really pops and leaves an impression, pushing creative boundaries on a micro-budget. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the director on concepts, sourcing props and set dressings (sometimes on a shoestring), managing on-set art direction, and making our locations feel uniquely ours. You'll be instrumental in bringing our artist's vision to life. We need someone with a strong sense of visual storytelling and a can-do attitude. No gear required, but an understanding of how to maximize impact with limited resources is a huge plus. Please have a portfolio or some examples of your design work, even if it's student or personal projects. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience and build your reel with a project that will definitely stand out. Shoot dates are approximately 2-3 days in early July, likely over a weekend, with prep days beforehand. Hours will be typical production days, so be ready for that. We'll provide craft services and a fun, collaborative environment. Compensation is deferred with a backend percentage, so everyone benefits if it hits big! Can't wait to see your creative ideas.
