Production Design for Pilot

Hey Atlanta creatives, I'm a wardrobe stylist on an exciting independent production, and we're looking for a talented Production Designer to join us for our sci-fi pilot. This project is a visually driven, gritty sci-fi thriller, think 'District 9' meets 'Children of Men.' It's an opportunity to build a unique world from the ground up, with a focus on practical sets and unique alien tech. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Director and DP to envision and execute the aesthetic plan, overseeing set construction and decoration, and sourcing props. You'll lead a small art department team and work within a budget to achieve a high-impact, believable future. We're searching for someone with mid-level experience in production design, ideally with a background in sci-fi or similar genre work. Your reel should showcase your ability to design compelling sets and manage resources. We don't expect you to own a full workshop, but experience with prop fabrication and set dressing is a huge plus. We’ll cover materials and provide some basic tools, but your design expertise is what we're looking for. Shoot dates are approximately late October/early November for about 7-10 days, with pre-production starting a few weeks prior. This is a revenue-share partnership, so we're looking for someone as invested in this project's success as we are. Let's make something amazing together!
