Senior Line Producer, Documentary (Remote OK)

Looking for an experienced Senior Line Producer for an independent documentary feature. This film explores the vibrant, often unseen resilience of a Brooklyn neighborhood facing gentrification, with a tone that balances intimate human stories with broader social commentary. It's an earnest project aiming for a film festival run. As our Line Producer, you'll be crucial in managing all logistical and financial aspects of the production. Key responsibilities include creating and managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and overseeing day-to-day operations. Experience with grant reporting and navigating complex permitting processes in NYC is a major plus. You'll be working closely with a small, dedicated team to keep our production organized and on track. We need someone with strong prior documentary experience, preferably in features, and a proven track record of bringing projects in on budget. Though our preference is for Brooklyn-based talent, we are open to remote candidates who can demonstrate effective remote production management skills. Anticipated shoot dates are scattered throughout late 2024 and early 2025, with prep beginning immediately. This is a TBD compensation role, with rates competitive for an independent production of this scale. We provide all necessary production software and resources.
